Books to read in order if you want to start in entrepreneurship / build a side business

More than ever people have been asking me about getting started in entrepreneurship and starting some sort of business.

These are the books that I recommend reading in order to everyone who's looking to start a business.

The Four Hour Work Week - Escape 9-5, Live Anywhere, And Join The New Rich

I picked up the 4HWW on a Sunday in 2007 at Barnes and Noble. I know it was a Sunday because I told my parents that I had to work at the skateboard shop on Sundays. The shop was closed. I did that so I could skip going to church and instead went to Barnes & Noble.

I read it before going to college and was determined that the lifestyle presented in the book was the one I would create in my life. Eventually I met my business partner Roy, who listened to a Tim Ferriss podcast where he talked about CILTEP and we started Natural Stacks. So I guess I owe Tim a lot.

This book is commonly referred to as the bible and foundation of digital nomadism / the lifestyle design movement.

DotCom Secrets: The Underground Playbook for Growing Your Company

This is a fun overview of digital marketing, sales funnels and scripts that companies and consultants use to sell your stuff on the internet. I don't know of a better book that does the job as well as this one.
